19 days "Palace on Wheels", Kathmandu & Tibet Tour Code: CT-5002

This unforgettable India–Kathmandu–Tibet tour starts gently with guests boarding the luxurious Palace on Wheels train for a stunning 7 night/8 day itinerary that touches almost all the important tourist attractions in Rajasthan and offers you stunning views of the Taj Mahal. Sit back in comfort and travel like a Maharajah of the past! The tour then proceeds to Nepal, where it offers comprehensive sightseeing in and around Nepal's capital Kathmandu and an optional helicopter trip to Syangboche in the high Himalayas. The tour then moves on to Lhasa where you will explore the attractions in and around Tibet's capital city. The final leg of this tour is a high-altitude drive to Shigatse and Gyantse, before continuing overland back to Nepal, via Everest base camp.

Please note: Timing on this tour is quite tricky for the following reasons: the Palace on Wheels train operates on a regular schedule, leaving only on Wednesdays; two working days are required in Kathmandu to process a Tibet visa; and there are no flights from Kathmandu to Lhasa on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So because of these timing considerations, including the date of your arrival in Delhi, and/or unforeseen delays or changes in flight schedules, adjustments may have to be made to this tour itinerary.
