11 days Western Mongolia Tour Golden Eagle Festival (27 September - 7 October) Tour Code: TPT-3007

A comprehensive 10 night/11 day tour that centers around the world-famous Golden Eagle Festival held annually deep within the Altai mountain range in western Mongolia. Each year Kazakh eagle hunters gather to participate in a variety of competitions that illustrate their horse riding skills and the training techniques of their eagles — it's a colorful, unique event. We also have plenty of time for interaction with a variety of Mongolian nomadic herders in order to further our understanding of the country. In addition, the tour fully explores the cultural, religious and scenic sites in and around Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital.
